Enquirer Blog: Laughing at Noy

Politics Extra: Opening remarks

Now, Noy is being laughed at. I wonder why. How the hell did Finney find this guy? Oh, I know...he's a former Brinkman volunteer...or so the rumor mill says.

I guess it's really true: "Stupidity is a self-correcting problem." Nathan Noy, irritating infected zit on the butt of the Second District GOP, has, as expected, been proven to be an empty suit. Now we'll see if the OEC has the backbone to carry through on their threat to levy some monetary penalties on the hapless, in-over-his-head Noy. If so, he should hit his COAST sponsors up for the tab. What do you want to bet they tell him no? COAST can't seem to accomplish anything except harassment, aggravation, misdirection and a state of chronic confusion. And they and all their groupies, like Noy, actually have the chutzpah to call themselves "the true conservatives." They are a joke, and they're not funny, particularly if they are successful in tarring an otherwise good man, Phil Heimlich, with their loser brush. Phil, I'm watching you; so are a lot of other supporters.

TNP, I have to wonder if Heimlich is part of the problem. Noy is tied to Brinkman and Finney, who cannot be separated from Heimlich. This whole thing smacks of cronyism. Would it be worth it to get rid of Heimlich so that he can't appoint his business partner Finney to all these boards and commissions? A man is known by the company he keeps...and his association with Chris Finney is a terrible indictment of Phil Heimlich's character.

WTF, you may well be right. I've just recently discovered to my chagrin the close ties between Heimlich and Finney and the COAST cabal. I don't know enough yet to decide conclusively if I need to abandon my strong support for Phil. But that decision, one way or the other, is coming. Problem is, who do I then support in his place? I will never vote for a liberal, period, so every Dem is on my no-no list. And in Cincinnati proper there aren't that many bona fide Republicans to choose from for county or for city offices. How liberal is Pepper, really? If he inherited his father's business sense, then he might be what we need. If Pepper is a bust, then we could kick him out in a few years, and elect a replacement. Don't forget, too, that Portune could be replaced. As long as we have Strong Si and TNT Deters, I think we'll be fine. COAST needs to go.

"COAST needs to go." Man, yes! But like a bad penny, they just keep turning up and churning up resentment and confusion among the Republican faithful. It's too bad. I suspect that most of the COAST folks share many truly conservative values and beliefs with me and lots of other local Reagan Conservatives. But their modus operandi is so utterly obnoxious, sophomoric and divisive that they repel me. Their lack of concern about party unity leads me to conclude that there's a strong Libertarian element in the COAST leadership.

I will look closer at Pepper.

What are you guys talking about ?

Nate Noy is endorsed by the whistleblower !

Why hasn't anyone filed a complaint against hindlick for conflict of interest since the state records still reveal that he is in business with Finney ?

Finney is still the registered agent although they claim they turned the business over to the non-trophy wife !

WTF

An endorsement by Jim Schifrin, the "Whistleblower," could well be the kiss of death. He supported McEwen in this year's Republican primary and Brinkman in last year's special Republican primary, both of which, to his chagrin and my glee, were won by Congresswoman Jean Schmidt. And now you say he has thrown his potty and body internet newsrag behind Nathan Noy? Figures. Schifrin is uncanny in his ability to do two things with great consistency: 1) making enemies by turning on supposed friends, betraying them and then rubbing their noses in it again and again and 2) picking political losers.
